On a fic note:

This should be on a filter, although it's not so much a writing thing, but to let everyone know for BSG big bang I plan on writing an AU piece, starting late season 2 (a few things from earlier on will be different, but nothing that had any major significance at that point.

Anyhow, because I feel if the comic writers can go around writing making people pay to read thing they obviously were on crack when they wrote, there's a little more room for artistic freedom in this fandom than most that said, I'm introducing an additional ship or two and some more civilians. Granted there will really only be about 16 new characters I mention, and really only 5 major characters, and with the few I'm omitting/neglecting to mention from the series, and several who'll be dying... that should be okay.

The thing about my writing, the real writing I do, is I'm massively into character development. As in I need to be able see my characters, hear them, know at least 500 inane facts from their youth.

So I 'cast' my new characters with real people (actors). The thing is the additional cast is a bit female heavy . So I need to choose a few boys. I'm going to use the top five from this poll. Now granted only one will have an actual significant role, maybe two down the line, but hey. I need to know picture Raptor pilot #2's reaction to random other pilot's reaction to something, and why they had that reaction. I need to see it, hear it, and block it out in my head. So this will help me. You can vote for as many as you want, just not all of them. If you want to vote for all but 1, go for it. (Just remember diversity is good. We don't need a bunch of boys who look, sound, and act alike.) Also IMDB.

And most of the girls I have pegged. Virginia Hey, Jane Seymour (OS shout out), Stephanie Romanov, Melissa George, Freema Agyeman, Tawny Cypress, to name a few. But I still need help picking my last 3, remember at least 1 will be deck crew.

So again, that means I'll take the top 5 boys and top three girls.

And if you do a massive write in campaign for someone I'll just add them as a character. (Up to two.) (And by massive, I mean at least 5 comment signatures. Because I'm easily influenced.)

Also, is there anyone going to conventions in the next month who would be willing to explain to guests you know someone who is holding a event/movie screening/auction for Equality Now (CSTS), and would they be willing to give contact info so they could be contacted about autographs or other memorabilia donations for the auction? Especially if you're going to Jossverse/BSG related conventions. Or any anything related to something with strong female characters. (Also if you have contact info, that to would be appreciated.)

Okay, so I put together a Lilah/Wesley fanmix. Disclaimer: I have about 2,000 songs I associate with at least one of the two, and oddly these (mostly) weren't the ones that usually come to mind first; and this is coming from a highly medicated and feverish girl. Not responsible for quality. It doesn't make my ears bleed, so we'll say good. It's entitled 'grey matters [of the heart]' because like all good OTPs their relationship wasn't simple, or cut and dry; there was a grey area, and also (read: mostly,) because of Lilah's infamous black and white quote.

The extreme sport? Can it be a mainstream? I'd like to be a professional dancer. Primarily ballet. Being quadriplegic people always ask me if I miss walking. I do in away but honestly, I can't even remember the sensation. So I usually answer in all truth, something along the lines of 'I just want to dance.'

Additionally figure skating, and gymnastics pique my interest. As does swimming. I used to be good at basketball so I'll toss that in there. And track. (Does yoga count?) And tennis. Football (not American.)

I also am really interested in stunt work, if that qualifies.

But I guess the most extreme sport I can think of doesn't require use of my legs. That would be wheelchair rugby. Those guys are pretty tough.

Barely but yes, and I miss and will be trying to catch up with everyone. *hugs* to Nora who nudged me. And if there's anything I should see, um drop it in comments. *more hugs to everyone*

Why yes, I'm a big animal rights activist. And this week I wanted to share with you a HSUS funny animated video but it's purpose really is to expose the heinous treatment of farm animals . And get the message out to Californians to vote yes on proposition 2, and help put a stop to horrible cruelties against farm animals.
